At Charles University, an international meeting dedicated to cotutelle took place

Under the patronage of Rector M. Králíčková and led by Vice-Rector J. Polák, the international meeting 'Development of Cotutelle at CU' took place on Friday, December 8.

The meeting was intended for doctoral program guarantors, vice-deans, PhD supervisors, cotutelle coordinators, and students.

The primary goal of the meeting was to provide useful information about doctoral studies under dual supervision (cotutelle), to present the possibilities of support from the university and the possibilities of further development and cooperation at international level. The meeting also served as a valuable platform for sharing experiences in the field of cotutelle and establishing closer contacts.

As part of the rich program, contributions included a presentation by Dr. Helena Reichlová from the Institute of Physics of the CAS and at the Technische Universität Dresden. She shared her extensive experience with cotutelle studies and international collaboration at the doctoral level. Professor Bernd Büchner (Professor at TU Dresden and Director at IFW Dresden) also spoke on the topic. Participants also had the opportunity to hear from Mgr. Barbora Boušová and Lenka Drugová from the DAAD IP Prague team about financial support options through DAAD research scholarships and many other contributions.

More information about the meeting can be found here and here.
