Charles University coordinates the Central Development Project supported by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports for 2020 entitled Development and Quality Assurance of Joint Degree Study Programmes Implemented in Cooperation with Universities Abroad.
The aim of the project is to share all aspects of practice and to create effective tools for the creation and implementation of study programmes carried out in cooperation with universities abroad. Setting common quality criteria for these specific study programmes in all related aspects (legislative framework, accreditation process, quality assurance, organization of studies, etc.) and at all relevant levels (national, university, faculty, etc.), as well as anchoring the typology of these study programmes, is one of the key elements for further development of the internationalization of educational activities.
Another key objective of the project is defining possible legislative changes as a part of Act no. 111/1998 Sb. on Institutions of Higher Education and amendments to other acts, as well as draft amendments to the respective government decrees for the accreditation process and other related methodologies of the National Accreditation Bureau, etc.
