4EU+ Alliance succeeded with the follow-up project 1CORE

4EU+ project 1CORE (One Comprehensive Research European University) was recently awarded funding in the Erasmus+ call for European University Alliances 2022 launched by the European Commission.

Within the four-year 1CORE project, the Alliance intends to further develop the joint activities in the areas of education, research and innovation that have been started in the previous pilot phase. This includes promoting the internationalisation of the European educational area, and encouraging physical and virtual mobility.

In the field of interuniversity studies, further support and a gradual increase in joint programmes and cotutelle agreements between 4EU+ members can thus be expected.

The 1CORE project involves Charles University (Prague, Czech Republic), Universität Heidelberg (Heidelberg, Germany), Sorbonne Université (Paris, France), Københavns Universitet (Copenhagen, Denmark), Università degli Studi di Milano (Milan, Italy), Uniwersytet Warszawski (Warsaw, Poland) and a new member Université de Genève (Geneva, Switzerland).
